DUTCH ARTHUR VAN GELDEN TEDDY BEAR
This is 21 inches tall, Arthur van Gelden, big heavy Dutch Bear made in Netherlands in the 1930s. Teddy has a long domed head, straight and rectangular body, with short stumpy legs.
The ears are mounted on the corners of his head. His eyes are made of black and white enameled metal buttons. He has no embroidered claws. The arms are short, straight and the feet are rounded with white pads.The nose and mouth are stitched with black thread. The fur is orange artificial silk, the stuffing is very tight with excelsior giving his body a heavy solid appearance and has no voice box.
Materials: Bright orange plush, Stuffed with Wood Shavings, Metal enameled button eyes, black embroidered nose and mouth, NO claws, pads are the same material as the rest of the teddy just in different color.
