GOKRA TEDDY BEAR - VERY RARE - STANDING
Antique German Teddy Bear Made by Gottfried Kraeber Co. "Gokra" (see photo from Teddy Bear Encyclopedia , by J. Cieslik. p. 127 for ID) Company was founded in 1945, and closed production in 1952, making these unusual bears rare and collectible. Made in a "velvet velour" stuffed with woodwool, so these bears are solid and heavy, great for display and long term enjoyment.

Materials: Bright gold velvet velour or artsilk plush, Stuffed with Wood Shavings, Red Plastic Eyes, black horizontally stitched nose, inverted V shape mouth stitching, 3 claws on each arm and leg, original pink cotton ''tear drop'' pads in good condition, feet reinforced with cardboard.
